Since the construction of the glacier-Cable car on the Hockenhorn ridge, the Lauchernalp ski area has established itself as an insider tip among freeriders, tourers and carving enthusiasts. The Children-Skiarea, which has been extended for this winter, leaves nothing to be desired by the youngest ski fans.

Spring offer for ski tourers
We offer you a tour ticket to the Hockenhorngrat plus a packed lunch worth CHF 50 per person. Valid for 2 nights booked during the week at standard rates (not valid on special offers).

The Hockenhorngrat is an ideal starting point for ski tours. Be it in the direction of the Lötschen Pass with the tours to Leukerbad or the Mauerhorn. Or after a short descent in the direction of Petersgrat with the options of Elvertätsch, Tellintal, inner or outer Faflertal or with a traverse to Stechelberg.

Enrich your hotel stay with an overnight stay in a mountain hut in the Lötschental. The Lötschen Pass hut, modernised and generously extended in 2007, will be the first Alpine accommodation to be awarded the Minergie Standard in 2009. It is run with great attention to detail, enjoy the attention of the hut team and the distant view of the Valais Southern Alps. The Bietschhorn hut is a small jewel, simple and authentic. Located directly at the foot of the Bietschhorn, you will feel the atmosphere of a mountain climber. The view of the southern slope of the Lötschental in the evening light will be an unforgettable experience.
